Bigleaf Maple (Acer macrophyllum)

While these trees do grow locally, they are not commonly cut in urban settings – most of our bigleaf maple comes to us by way of northern washington, where we trade native slabs with another sawmill. Maple is on par with walnut in it’s desirability, especially because of it’s light color tones and exceptional figure. We sell maple for $12-$15/board foot
